Ceremony:
St. Mary's Church, German Village, OH
Oh the Catholic Church, has been the hardest part of the whole wedding planning so far. Just kidding, Originally we started out at my parent's Church in West Jefferson but after meeting with the priest like 5 times we decided that this was not working for us. So we looked into another option, St. Mary's Church is literally less than a mile from our current home and probably a 10 minute drive to the reception venue, so we decided that this would be best. The church is beautiful it is older and has a great deal of character and the area has so much stuff to do, that our guests won't be bored during our Catholic Gap.
Reception:
The Big Room
After 10 venues, 2 food tastings, 1 wine tasting and countless hours researching and contacting different venues, and almost signing the dotted line on a different venue, and dotting the line on one venue. We decided that our original choice was so far from what we wanted we were no longer excited for our wedding anymore. So after discussion with our parents we decided that we are starting almost fresh. We looked into 3 new places that allowed our own catering and alcohol and we choose "The Big Room". It is located near the ceremony site, allows 6 hours party time and it is a interesting space and fits our color palette very well. Not the best picture but it is very nice.
