Vendors To Help Share Our Special Day
The Big Room:
This was our last stop in our venue search, I went there one after boot camp and I fell in love. It just fit our theme so well, with the white walls and black shutters and a oak bar. Wendy has been amazing, she has been really helpful so far, but we are now concerned that we will have enough room for seating and a dance floor but if we have to move tables we will! We get a 6 hour party time (which i think is a lot). They also are allowing us to bring our own caterer and alcohol (other than budweiser products)
Nicole's Catering:
I emailed Nicole like 9 million times during the my decision process and I was really down between 2 caterers and she offered a few free items and added somethings and it made my decision so much easier! She worked with us, we had already purchased linens and she took the quoted price down. We had a "flavor" tasting and we loved it! We love that they offer a discount for a larger deposit and that we have payment plans set up so we don't have to make a larger check at the end.
Anita Kline:
We loved her, we had a 2 hour cake appointment because she was amazing and so easy to talk to! She had so many options and her prices were amazing! The one thing my dad said was that there was not enough icing on her samples. She said of course there would be lots of icing on the cake! We are currently having banana cake with peanut butter buttercream filling, banana cake with vanilla butter cream, white almond cake with maple butter cream, 1 layer of red velvet with 1 layer of vanilla with vanilla butter cream and our anniversary cake spice cake with maple (we are thinking of getting another layer at least so that we can have have spice with maple as one of our options and my mom and sisters would really like a chocolate cake but honestly I don't know!
Alfred Angelo:
I was so nervous to go dress shopping, over the last couple of years I have gained so much weight that I wanted to wait until I lost weight before I went dress shopping, that is why I waited so long to do it. But I made it January and I gained weight instead of lost, so I decided that I need to get a dress now and worry about loosing weight later. So I went to Alfred Angelo because I knew they carried samples in all different sizes and I had found multiple styles that would look great on me. My first visit I went with 3 bridesmaids because I wanted a care free, no pressure trip, I found 2 dresses that I liked but I knew that I needed my mom and sisters there to help with the decision so we went back later that week and we tried on a few more and I found the dress. The one thing I would say is that the accessories are really expensive, they tried to put me in a 250 dollar veil!
Emily Grgich:
When I moved to german village I made an appointment with emily to do my hair and I loved it! She has been doing my hair for the last 2 years and I completely trust her. So she said that she would do my wedding hair and I am super excited, the best part is she is totally for me getting extensions for it!
Buckeye Entertainment:
I met with Byron at a panera bread for like 45 minutes by myself because Brent forgot that we had a meeting. He was very personable and he was really excited that we were getting married at the big room. He is so reasonably priced (best in Columbus that I saw) and he has done so many weddings that we were not worried about his skills. We are also getting our photo booth through him because he offered an additional 100 dollars off because no one had booked the photo booth, we have to do our own scrapbook but it will probably costs us around like 100 dollars so we are still saving around 400 dollars going with them.
